Delta Airlines Major changes may be on its way at Delta dependent over the outcome of union elections that commenced Wednesday. These elections could in the end broaden union representation to 50,000 of the airline’s employees.

Noting that Delta is actually the only big U.S. carrier which is mostly nonunion, the ballots are the final action of Delta’s assimilation of Northwest Airlines, which it purchased in 2008. Flight attendants began voting on a union Wednesday. Three organizations of ground personnel are expected to vote in the following few months. Read the rest of this entry
