Kenya Airways Kenya Airways has won the first battle against Kenya Aviation and Allied Workers Union (AAWU) following a ruling by the industrial court, which has blocked Wednesday’s strike by workers over pay dispute.

Last week, AAWU announced that close to 5,000 workers would go on strike.

“The whole of aviation industry, involving 5,000 employees will go on strike from October 13th to demand the management of Kenya Airways to honour return-to-work formula signed on August 25th last year. We shall strike until our demands are met,” AAWU chairman of Moss Ndiema said. Read the rest of this entry
